Of all the improvements you can
make to your home a swimming pool is probably the most dramatic... it
doesn't just enhance the value of your property, it enhances the quality
of your life.. Yet the most common questions people ask when considering a
pool are, "how big should it be?", "how deep?", "what shape?" and "where
should we put it?" As important as these questions are, the key
question is, "who should I trust to build it?"
Of course, we think the
answer to that question should be us! And the purpose of the
following text is to explain why...
Over
the years...
... a number of our clients have asked, "how in the world did you
ever decide to become a pool contractor? Good question!
After all it's not exactly the type of career a kid decides on when he's
a little boy! But the more we thought about it, the more we
realized how perfect this job is: we enjoy creating things, and also
enjoy making people happy. We like art, science, nature, and
technology. And pool contracting pulls all of these disciplines
together. Hire a pool contractor who's missing any of these
capabilities and chances are you'll be disappointed with the end result.
Your pool is a personal expression of who you are and how you live your
life... You can do it with quality, excellence and style or you can hire
someone whose attitude is that a swimming pool is nothing more than a
hole in the ground filled with water. Amazingly, the big
difference between these two very different approaches to pool
construction isn't price. Yes, we make a profit on every pool we
construct -- it's how we make a living. In fact, a well designed,
well-built pool that's custom-planned to fit your lifestyle may very
well cost less than a job done by someone who cuts corners to "keep
prices down." Why? Because a good pool contractor knows that
his single most important asset is his reputation. We believe
quality is not expensive, it is priceless.
With pools, as
with...
... everything else, there is a direct correlation between value and
customer satisfaction. If you hire us to construct your pool and are
delighted with the craftsmanship and the value you received for your
investment, what are you going to tell your friends when they ask about
your pool contractor?.
We certainly hope you will tell
them to call us! We are very proud of the work we do, and we'll be
happy to provide you with a list of our past customers so that you can
call them and ask if they are satisfied with the value they received for
their money.
Please ask us
why...
... we use certain materials and construction techniques. The
more you know, the more you will understand and appreciate the value of
your pool. Also, for many people, it's just plain interesting!
We will work with you to schedule a time when you can observe the
construction process if you'd like.
The emotional
aspects to your pool...
... are very important, but they are hard to describe. One
good example is the shape and size of your pool. We'll show you
photographs of other pools and even arrange for a "tour" so that you'll
feel comfortable with your selection. Then, we'll mark out the
dimensions at the actual location on your property. If you want to
make changes, it's a lot easier to do it this way than with a bulldozer!
But of all the things we'll do for you during the planning stages, perhaps
the most important is also the simplest: we'll listen to your wants and
needs to assure that the pool you get is truly the pool that's right for
you.
It may sound
ironic...
... but even with all of today's high-tech innovations, we believe
pool contractors are akin to the craftsmen of long ago. Working with
our customers, we take ideas and concepts and translate them into physical
objects. Every element of design, every aspect of construction,
every piece of material selected must work together to create something
that is as attractive as it is functional. Sure we use big machines,
but essentially pools are built by hand, and each finished product is as
unique as the company who builds it, and the people in that company that
physically builds it. To ensure that we are aware of the latest
developments in good design, construction and maintenance, we belong to an
association called the National Spa and Pool Institute (NSPI).

In addition to establishing
ethical and professional standards, NSPI provides ongoing educational
programs for its members. To us, it's like the guilds that craftsmen
established long ago. Because of NSPI, you can be assured we are
able to do a better job for you.
We truly love what we do and
hope to have the opportunity to create your pool |
